How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping on our kits is £2.00. Orders over £30 qualify for free postage, with some areas of the UK excluded (see next question below).
Which areas are excluded from standard/free delivery?
Unfortunately, due to high cost by our providers, we are currently unable to ship to the following areas of the UK: Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands. If you live in one of these areas then we encourage you to contact us *before ordering* to see what we can do.
Do you ship outside of the UK?
Generally no, we only sell within the UK. That said, we’re a small and flexible company and might be able to arrange something. Please therefore contact us *before* ordering to see what we can do and how much shipping will cost for you.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal.
Is this site secure?
This entire site is encrypted using an SSL certificate. Also we do not store any of your payment details – all payments are handled by our credit card provider and PayPal.
Orders & Returns
What’s your returns policy?
After receiving the item, you can cancel the purchase within 14 days. If you have received the goods before you cancel, then you must send the goods back to our contact address at your own cost and risk. Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your order, and we have either received the goods back or, if earlier, received tracking evidence that you have sent the goods back, we will refund any sum debited by us from your credit/debit card or PayPal account within 14 calendar days. Do I need an account to place an order?
Not at all, you can simply checkout as a guest. If you do choose to register, then you can access your order history as well as track the progress of your orders. It will also save some basic information, such as your billing name and address, to save you time on your next order. Please note we do not store credit/debit card numbers for security reasons.
How do I track my order?
If you opt-in to register a Handy Animals customer account, then you can track the progress of your order within the My Account area on this site. Some orders may also be sent via a tracked postal service, in which case you may receiving tracking information via email or phone (if supplied).
How can I return a product?
Initially you need to contact us to specify that you wish to cancel your purchase. We will then send you full instructions. Please note that you have up to 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel your order.
